The Big Walnut girls track and field team claimed the 2026 OHSAA Division II Regional Championship, earning 76 points and advancing multiple athletes to the state championships.
Regional Champions!
The Big Walnut girls' track and field team delivered a championship performance at the 2026 OHSAA Division II Regional Meet, earning the team title with 76 points and securing their place among Ohio's best.
The Golden Eagles edged Toledo St. Ursula Academy by five points to claim the regional crown, showcasing the depth, talent, and determination that have defined their season. The championship was the result of outstanding performances across multiple events and a true team effort from athletes and coaches alike.
Several Eagles also qualified for the OHSAA State Championships, where they will have the opportunity to compete against the top athletes in Ohio.
Congratulations to our student-athletes and coaching staff on an incredible accomplishment. The Big Walnut community is proud of you and will be cheering you on at the state meet. Go Eagles!

Big Walnut's varsity boys track and field team earned Regional Runner-Up honors at the OHSAA Division II Regional Meet and will send multiple athletes to the state championships.
The Big Walnut boys track and field team delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 OHSAA Division II Regional Meet, finishing as Regional Runner-Up with 60 team points.
Competing against some of the top Division II programs in Ohio, the Golden Eagles showcased their depth and talent across the meet, finishing second only to Canal Winchester. The strong team effort was highlighted by numerous top performances and state-qualifying finishes that helped Big Walnut secure its place among the region's elite programs.
Several Eagles will now advance to the OHSAA State Championships, where they will compete against the best athletes in Ohio.
Congratulations to our student-athletes and coaching staff on an incredible season and a remarkable regional performance. The entire Big Walnut community is proud of your accomplishments and wishes you the best of luck at the state meet. Go Eagles!
