The 8th grade softball team continued their winning ways by beating Olentangy Berlin 7 to 3 in some difficult playing conditions. Ashlyn Greathouse had another complete game win from the circle and she was helped by some outstanding defense from Maggie Adams, Josey Durst, and Joslyn Shaver.  Offense was highlighted by a perfectly executed bunt by Chloe Rice that scored an insurance run in the 7th.  The 4-0 Eagles play Olentangy Shanahan Thursday at home.

The boys team won again last night, this time hammering a very over matched Olentangy Berkshire team by 19-0. Amazing performance took place up and down the field, as the Big Walnut offense dominated the possessions, ground balls, and scoreboard. Several  players scored their first goals of the season, including Jalen Jones, Clark Reckner, Jace Leonard and Brady Ruegg who scored twice. The duo of Jace Leonard and Max Osborne combined for a perfect 18 out of 18 on faceoffs, as well as combining for a total of 16 controlled balls. A special shout out to the goalies Max Shearer and Tyler Grannell who each stopped every shot attempt by Berkshire. Tyler also had a fantastic outlet clearing pass that eventually led to another Eagle goal.
